Salary: £28,000 – 35,000, OTE £40,000
Hours: 40Hrs Per Week, Monday to Friday 8:00AM – 4:30PM

Turner / Lathe Operator, CNC Programmer or Setter or Operator

Perfect Placement Engineering are working with a fantastic client and looking for a highly motivated CNC Turner to join their successful subcontract machining company based in Maldon, Essex. The ideal candidates will have experience within the sub-contract market and knowledge of programming/setting CNC lathes using the SIEMENS or FANUC operating system.  

This is an excellent opportunity for a CNC Turner with Programming, setting and Lathe operating experience. Our client is currently seeking Great Attention to detail, Strong Problem-Solving skills, and Excellent Passion to learn. if you match these key skills this could be the job for you. 

Key Duties of a CNC Turner:

  • Program and operate CNC turning machines
  • Technical drawings to produce desired components
  • Tight tolerances and self-inspect completed jobs
  • Programs at the machines Ensuring the highest quality at all times
  • Prepare the appropriate machine for production in accordance with the works order
  • Reporting to the Workshop Manager and Company Director with workload scheduling and planned delivery dates for the turning section.

Key Skills of a CNC Turner:

  • Must be able to write programs from scratch as well as edit
  • Must have experience using SIEMENS or FANUC controls
  • Strong Problem-Solving skills
  • Excellent Passion to learn
  • Great Attention to detail
  • Relevant Engineering experience
