Field Ventilation Engineer

  • Covering South West of England - Ideally based around Bath, Bristol or Exeter
  • £33,000 Basic after successful probation period 
  • 40 Hours Monday to Friday 7:00 16:30 with the option of Weekend work and Overtime.

The Ventilation Engineer Job Profile:

  • As the Ventilation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation of various products within social housing and private properties
  • Installing ventilation products across social & private housing
  • Complete basic treatment and decoration as needed.
  • Carry out Inspections, Repair, and Replacement service to existing ventilation products
  • Manage own stock levels
  • Provide a high level of customer care and service 
  • Complete work safely in accordance with risk assessments and method statements
  • Work closely with the scheduling team to manage status of works.

Essential requirements of Ventilation Engineer

  • Full clean UK driving licence essential
  • Competent in electrical installations
  • Electrical experience 
  • 18th edition qualified and hold a domestic electrical installers certificate or equivalent
  • C&G level 2 or domestic installer qualification
  • Good skills involved in installation of ventilation fans, PPS (Proportional Pressure Support), PIV’s (Positive Input Ventilation), HRU’s (heat recovery ventilator) and Duct work etc.
  • Excellent health and safety practices.

Additional Requirements of Ventilation Engineer

  • NVQ L3, Inspection and testing and JIB
  • Part P test and inspect qualified
  • Experience with Mechanical Extract ventilation Systems & products
