Manual Machinist
Due to ongoing company growth and expansion, our client, a global provider of modified and manufactured specialist products, are currently looking for an experienced Manual Machinist.
Excellent working facilities. Our client works with and supplies industrial valves for the O&G and Food Productions sectors worldwide.
The ideal Manual Machinist will have a background interest in engineering, be punctual and reliable, have a good work ethic, be prepared to work extra hours when requested
Packgage for the Successful Manual Machinist:
- Full-time Permanent
- £12.50 - £16.50 per hour plus over time at x1.5
- Hours: full-time - 40 hours per week on a permanent contract
- Mon–Thurs 7:45-17:00 (Friday midday finish)
- Benefits: competitive salary, 22 days’ annual leave (+ public Holidays).

Responsibilities Required of the Manual Machinist:
- The role involves manual turning and milling of steel & non-metallic components to machining drawings, single point screw cutting, drilling.
- Previous experience of vertical & Horizontal borer would be an advantage.
- Use manual lathe, milling and drilling machines, working to engineering drawings
- Milling using manual turret and bed mills
