Service Engineer – Thetford
- Salary around £41,000 including food and drink allowance, plus overtime
- Hours: 40 hours Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (Can be flexible)
- Occasional nights away required.
- Remote working is an option once fully trained and competete.
We're on the lookout for a talented Service Engineer for our client, a market leader in the design, manufacture, and installation of their own cutting-edge machinery and products, used across a variety of businesses across the UK and Nationally.
As a Service Engineer, your responsibilities will be:
- Carry out service.
- Ensure all tasks are carried out in compliance with relevant statutory legislation
- Fault diagnosis and maintenance on electrical/mechanical equipment.
- High standard of cleanliness during jobs
- Support other Service Engineers within the team when required.
Person Specification of the Service Engineer:
- Electrical qualifications
- Previous experience with bespoke machinery
- Machinery installation
- Machinery commissioning
- Understanding of PLC software
- Multi Skilled-Mechanical & Electrical
- Machine Service & Breakdown
- Maintenance
- Fault diagnostics
- Full Driving licence
The successful Service Engineer will ideally:
- Flexible and able to stay away for single and occasionally multiple overnights.
- Hold a current full driving licence.
- Live locally to Thetford
- Be well organised, self-motivated and have good attention to detail.
- Enjoy meeting people, be reliable and well-presented.
- Have excellent Computer Literacy.
