CNC Miller required in Dunstable
- Salary: £18 to £20 per hour (experience dependent), plus overtime at x1.5.
- Hours: 39 hours per week, 08:00 to 17:00
- Extras: Corporate company clothing provided
- Overtime hours available
Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced CNC Miller to join their successful team.
With over 50 years' experience in the manufacturing industry, our client has managed to create a vast customer base including medical services, surgical appliances, aerospace and motorsport industry.
The primary focus of the company is to deliver the highest level of materials to their customers and deliver quick, efficient and cost-effective solutions which meet the customer's spec. They come as a high recommended company and their customer base is constantly expanding due to the level of their work.
Duties of the CNC Miller:
- Programming, setting and operating Haas Milling machinery
- Experience of OneCNC software (preferred but non-essential)
- Ensuring consistent quality and meeting spec
- Meeting company timelines and delivery dates
Skills Required of the CNC Miller:
- Understanding and ability to read engineering/technical drawings
- CAD/CAM experience
- Extensive Milling experience
- Organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
- Working within a team environment
- Using CMM's
- Computer literate

- Can you set a machine working from a drawing?
- Can you take a drawing/model and create a program to manufacture?
- What materials have you machined?
- What tolerances have you machined to?
