CNC Programmer and operator - North Norfolk   

  • Salary: £16-£18 ph depending on experience  
  • Hours: Monday – Friday. Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm / Fri early finish 25 day holidays
  • Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Additional Benefits:

  • Very competitive pay.
  • 25 days holiday per year, plus bank holidays.

Our Client, a specialist and well established Precision Engineering Company in Norfolk area is currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team.

They are looking for highly skilled/experienced CNC turners and millers, preferably with experience of programming FANUC based machines.

This is an exciting opportunity for a CNC Machinist to join a forward-thinking Engineering Business who look to continually invest in their equipment, people and the offering to their customers. Successful CNC Programmer will:  

  • Have proven experience in the machining of metallic components, particularly cast iron, carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
  • Experience Programming FANUC or Mazatrol operating systems  
  • Time served engineering apprenticeship or other relevant qualifications
  • Experience running multi axis CNC milling and or Turning machines.
  • Be a competent communicator, both verbal and written
  • Able to use measuring equipment

Duties in this Production Engineer Role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Programme and operate Milling and or Turning Machines
  • Programming, setting, and operating our CNC lathes (Fanuc and Mazatrol based programming).
  • Producing components for our range of steering, hydraulic and precision engineered parts.
  • Application of ISO quality standards.
  • Maintain safe working practices and a high standard of housekeeping
