Welder Fabricator required in Norwich
- Role: Full-time, permanent
- Salary: Negotiable depending on level of experience
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 16:30, 40 hours per week
Our client is a very successful manufacturer based near Norwich, are looking to add an experienced Welder to join their talented engineering team.
They are a specialist that design, manufacture, install and service complete systems for a wide range of products from initial concept to final execution, providing processors with ideal solutions for processing, product handling, sorting, precision flavouring, weighing and packing.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Welder Fabricator:
- Working on a variety of site and/or workshop based projects
- Fabrication of structural steel work and sheet metal from drawings
- Welding to high standards
- Adhere to project deadlines
- Adhering to the health & safety policy
- Ensuring quality targets are met
Essential Requirements of the Welder Fabricator:
- Full UK Drivers Licence
- TIG & MIG Welding experience: 2 years
- Experience of pipe welding/fitting
- Basic math and design skills
- The ability to read and understand engineering diagrams and technical drawings.
- Live within a commutable distance of Diss
Desirable (not essential):
- Knowledge of the food, drink or energy industry
- Problem solving skills
- Forklift Ticket
- CSCS Card
