Draughtsperson (joinery)

Our Client, a leading high-end joinery company specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke interior joinery for London’s most luxurious residences, are looking for an experienced Draughtsperson.
With an innovative approach, resilient mindset and burning desire to impress, our client is constantly progressing and adapting to the bespoke requirements of the customer. A previously deep and ever-expanding knowledge of luxury materials, finishes and techniques really drive the company to succeed to an astounding level.
Responsibilities of the Draughtsperson:
- Working alongside the Project Manager
- Developing designs and technical drawings in line with client’s requirements
- Ensuring ‘Bills of Materials’ are included on every design
- Working alongside external/other design teams
- Liaising with design teams within on and off site meetings
- Utilising 3D design software – Autodesk Inventor is very desirable.
Requirements of the Draughtsperson:
- Experience within a Draughtsperson role (or very similar role)
- Joinery background and experience
- Experience in technical design with a bespoke mindset
- Experience on working with bespoke furniture and joinery design and application
- Strong knowledge of all joinery materials – premium woods, veneers, laminates, boarding and general hardware
- Deep knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and/or Solidworks, AutoCAD software
- Very strong attention to detail
