As a TIG Welder, the responsibilities are preparing/cutting required shapes and welding according to structure plans, inspection, diagnosing problems, using a grinder to smooth and clean appropriately, and assembling parts using appropriate hand/small power tools. 

Some essential abilities are; experience in the industry, time management, and task management skills, a high degree of integrity, friendliness, and being approachable, to understand and deliver good customer service.
 
The role of TIG gives many opportunities for different paths such as Supervisor, instructor, Technician, or Inspector. 

Typically, a TIG Welder will work 40hrs/Week as well as offer overtime. Salaries range between £26,000-£35,000 per annum depending on experience.
