As a Quality Manager, you are responsible for many things, some main tasks are; to review customer requirements and make sure they are met, work with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers, and set standards for quality as well as health and safety.

Some more motivated tasks are to train and manage a team of quality control technicians, make sure the company is working as effectively as possible to keep up with competitors and measure performance and identify any areas of weakness, recommend and implement improvements. 

Some skills and qualifications you will require are; communication and interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving ability, the ability to lead and motivate a team, and attention to detail.
