As an Injection Mould Tool Maker there are many responsibilities to consider such as; reading blueprints, following instructions, using CAD programs to plan the moulds that must be constructed, setting up equipment and ensuring each piece of equipment is appropriate for the intended mould design, analysing and correcting mould malfunctions as well as disassembling mould tooling for cleaning and repairs. 

Some requirements for an Injection Mould Tool Maker are; a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited mould-making apprenticeship, 2-year minimum experience in mould making or mould maintenance, good active learning, time management, communication and organisational skills.
