As an HR there are many responsibilities such as preparing job descriptions, advertising vacant positions and managing the employment process, orientating new employees and training existing employees, monitor employee performance. Some key information would be ensuring accurate and proper record keeping of employee information in electronic and digital format. 

Some of the requirements and skills needed are; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in HR, able to engage in meaningful negotiation and resolution, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. This role offers many different options and is relatively easy to pass through the ranks from Assistant to advisor to business partner however this slows when you reach the senior level as competition becomes more intense. 

Generally, the work hours for HR are 40-45hrs/Week including overtime. Salaries range between £18,000-£45,000 per annum depending on experience.
