As a Panel Wirer there are many responsibilities such as; working from a set of schematic and layout drawings, wire fitting, building and assembling power distribution units, fitting electrical components and electrical wiring working from schematics and drawings and lastly, you will be using hand tools and pneumatic tools. 

Some skills and requirements needed for a Panel Wirer are; previous use and experience with hand tools, minor soldering, you must be able to understand electrical drawings, attention to detail, and good communication skills. lastly, control panel experience is essential and fitting electrical control panels. 

This role of a Panel Wirer requires a little more knowledge and understanding of wider electrical components and systems, this will open more opportunities to work on bigger projects and take more responsibility. 

Typically, a Panel Wirer works a total of 37-40hr/Week and also offers overtime. Salaries range between £25,000-£35,000 per annum depending on experience.
